iFilm English to play ‘It Was an Angel’

iFilm’s popular series ‘It Was an Angel’ has been scheduled to go on air from March 29, 2022.

The series, directed by Alireza Afkhami and produced by Ramin Abbasizadeh, is a 2005 thriller production.

"Behzad is a religious man who tries to live a righteous life, but sometimes his holier-than-thou attitude towards others makes him blind to his own shortcomings. When he gets into an accident with a mysterious girl on a deserted road, his faith is put to the test. Now it is time for Behzad to differentiate good from evil and make the right decision," a short synopsis for the series reads.

The cast list of ‘It Was an Angel’ includes Sorayya Qasemi, Reza Tavakkoli, the late Hassan Joharchi, Bahareh Afshari, Morteza Zarrabi, Amir-Mohammad Zand, and Maryam Kaviani.

The series will be a replacement for ‘The Forbidden Fruit’ and is scheduled to go on air daily at 21:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat each episode of the series the next day at 02:00, 06:00 and 13:00 (all GMT). It consists of 28 episodes.
